Preparation
Fast from the night before. Some add-ons, such as PillCam, come with special instructions.
Worried about the MRI?
Tell us when you book. You can see the scanner and try lying in it before your appointment. It is wider than most, and your partner can sit next to you.
Pacemaker
If you have a pacemaker, we do not perform MRI scans.
Insurance
Spanish and English private insurers often cover 80–100% if your policy covers a doctor of your choice. Scandinavian insurers usually do too. Always check with your insurer first.
Hospital
In the middle of Puerto Banús
The clinic is part of the newly renovated private hospital Helicópteros Sanitarios Hospital. If you are admitted, you get your own large suite in quiet surroundings.
English-speaking specialists are on duty in the mornings and Henrik himself in the afternoons, weekends included. The hospital has a cardiac catheterisation laboratory and two operating suites.

About
Henrik Reinhard, MD, DMSc
Henrik qualified as a doctor in Denmark and holds a doctorate (DMSc) in preventive cardiology and risk prediction. He has done research at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in Australia and worked as a screening doctor in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Today he works only in Spain. At Executive Health in Marbella he is in charge of all examinations, appointments and treatments, and he is the person you talk to along the way.

Executive Health is staffed by Scandinavian professionals. The images from your examination are reported by a fixed group of three radiologists, three cardiologists and two gastroenterologists. All our screening doctors have a research background at PhD level or higher.
